"I am excited for the opportunity to continue my service to Craven County. I have as much energy, enthusiasm and commitment as I had the first day I offered myself for service and I look at each day as a new challenge. I’m proud of the reputation I’ve earned as a common sense voice of reason. I focus on keeping taxes low and retaining Craven County’s uniqueness, while avoiding the bombastic rhetoric and grandstanding that is all too common in local politics. My military career was built on a foundation of love of country, and my goal now is serving. I am aware and opinionated about national issues.
